Today we announced the purchase of Allied InfoSecurity, a privately-held security consulting services firm based in suburban Philadelphia, PA. This is exciting news for us, as well as for our clients and the Allied InfoSecurity team.
We share many common goals and a similar approach to our business, and our solutions are very complementary. Michael McKinley and Patty H. Pezely co-founded Allied InfoSecurity in 2006 with the vision of providing a dedicated group of expert security practitioners offering pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to support the security and business needs of their customers. In the past 10 years, they’ve helped hundreds of organizations improve their information security and risk management programs, as well as meet industry regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GLBA, and others.
The acquisition enables us to further expand our growing portfolio of managed security services, incident response capabilities, and consulting, as well as our leadership team and staff. It will also enable us to better serve our customers in the Northeast, and add significant expertise in the healthcare industry.
