The new 2020 Endpoint Security Report is here, and we’re excited to share it with you. The report includes the latest endpoint security trends and data points to help you benchmark how your own organization is doing. In addition, it has insights into why and how organizations invest in endpoint security, and the security capabilities companies are prioritizing.
Delta Risk partnered with our colleagues at Cybersecurity Insiders to produce this report. The results are based on responses from thousands of cyber security and IT professionals to a comprehensive online survey.
Among the findings:
- Most organizations are reporting an increase or significant increase in endpoint security risk (55 percent).
- Only half of organizations (51 percent) are very confident or extremely confident in their organization’s endpoint security posture.
- Less than half of organizations believe their current endpoint security posture can stop 75 percent of attacks or more.
The results highlight how organizations are challenged with defending against new and increasingly sophisticated threats but aren’t sufficiently prepared to face those threats with their current endpoint security platforms. While many organizations are turning to next generation endpoint detection and response solutions (EDR) for more comprehensive protection, they can be complex to deploy and manage.
