Delta Risk LLC Names Leah Schmid as VP of HR and Administration

Human Resources Executive Will Also Oversee IT and Security Management

SAN ANTONIO, TX — July 6, 2016— Delta Risk LLC, a global provider of cybersecurity and risk management services, announced today that Leah Schmid has been named Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. Schmid brings more than 15 years of progressive human resources and strategic business partnering experience from a wide array of industries to the role, and will oversee human resources, talent acquisition, information technology, and security management functions.

Prior to joining Delta Risk, Schmid served as director of administration at Manufacturing Techniques (MTEQ), an advanced sensors design, development, and rapid prototyping company, where she worked as a member of the executive leadership team to create talent management, benefits administration, facilities and security management, and information technology programs.

Before joining MTEQ, Schmid was director of human resources at Blue Canopy Group, LLC, an information technology and cybersecurity organization. She also served as vice president of human resources for the Services and Solutions Group (SSG) at QinetiQ North America, now part of Vencore, Inc.

Schmid earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington and holds a Senior Professional of Human Resources certification, as well as Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional certification.
