Delta Risk Expands Partner Program and Cloud Capabilities for Managed Service Providers (MSPs)

September 13, 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 19 Webinar Will Discuss Need for IT Service Providers and Security Firms to Team Up

SAN ANTONIO, TX — September 13, 2018 — Delta Risk LLC, a global provider of cyber security and security consulting services, announced that it has expanded its program for managed service providers (MSPs), including new cloud security capabilities in its ActiveEye™ managed security platform. The company will host a webinar on September 19, “Build a Managed Service Dream Team: Why MSPs and MSSPs Need to Join Forces,” to share how IT service providers and other technology services firms can quickly and easily add 24x7x365 security services to their portfolios by partnering with a managed security service provider (MSSP).

The live webcast, featuring presenter John Hawley, Vice President of Managed Security, will discuss the current security services landscape and why it is growing, as well as business considerations for MSPs that want to add managed security to their service offerings.

Attendees will also learn about:

  • What questions MSPs should ask when looking for an MSSP partner
  • The benefits of partnering with an MSSP vs. building in-house solutions
  • The Delta Risk Partner Program, including cloud security capabilities

Cloud security in particular is becoming a challenge for traditional MSPs, which often have limited staff and expertise in this area. Delta Risk’s Security Operation Center as a Service (SOC) Platform offers new revenue opportunities and capabilities for partners, who can choose a co-managed or MSP-branded option. Built with a cloud-first approach, it offers native integration to Microsoft Office365, Google GSuite, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the Google Cloud Platform.

“More MSPs are seeing increased customer demand for cyber security solutions, particularly from small and mid-sized organizations and companies moving to cloud applications and infrastructure,” Hawley noted. “Partnering can fill this gap and provide MSPs with a full suite of security solutions, as well as access to highly-skilled cyber security analysts, without the time and investment required to become an MSSP themselves.”

As the managed service market as a whole continues to grow, managed security is becoming an attractive option for organizations that want to outsource their security needs or supplement in-house expertise. Industry analysts predict the managed security services market will grow to $40 billion by 2022, fueled by the cyber security skills shortage and the rapid rise of new threats.
