Cybersecurity Firm Names Financial Services, Energy Expert to Lead Finance Organization
SAN ANTONIO, TX — April 12, 2016 — Delta Risk LLC, a global provider of cybersecurity and risk management services, announced today that Jim Garner has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Garner, who has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, spent the past 10 years as owner or partner of consulting firms focusing on project management and strategy execution supporting the CFO organization, with a primary focus in financial services and energy.

Prior to joining Delta Risk, Garner worked with a number of other firms, including roles as:
Managing Partner, leading the Business Advisory Practice for the professional services firm SolomonEdwards in the Washington, DC region, where he was responsible for client service, operations, growth and business development; and
President and Founder of Virtus Consulting, a boutique consulting firm acquired by SolomonEdwards that provided financial advisory services, regulatory consulting, and interim CFO and Controllership solutions, serving clients such as Sallie Mae, Fannie Mae, AES, Deltek and Contour Global.
Garner is a graduate of Villanova University, a licensed CPA, and a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs.
